TB SKIN TESTING
TUBERCULOSIS SKIN TESTING
Tuberculosis skin testing is available at the Bedford Guardian location by appointment only. Please read the important information below, and then book your appointment online.
A tuberculin skin test (also called a Mantoux tuberculin test) is used to see if you have been exposed to tuberculosis. Tuberculin skin testing is required for many employers and schools.
You will need to determine whether you require ONE STEP or TWO STEPS (and book a second step if required). If you require TWO STEPS, you will need to book a second appointment 1-4 weeks after your first appointment.
Each Step Requires 2 visits to the Pharmacy
The first visit will be on a Tuesday and a second visit 48 hours later on Thursday. When you book your appointment date and time please remember that you also need to attend 48 hours later on Thursday at the same time.
